Simmons database syntax

We have students working on a Simmons database problem and they have had a question about using the NOT operator. They have been asked to find customers who shop at JC Penneys and not Walmart, but when we tried the NOT operator it was not working. Matt contacted Simmons and learned that the correct syntax is “AND NOT.”  If you get questions about this, hopefully this will resolve the problem.

Free Tax Prep Service in KOBL

We’ll probably start getting questions about the free tax preparation service. Here are some answers:

The service started Saturday, January 28^th at 9:00am in KOBL 375 and is running Wednesdays (5:00pm-7:30pm in KOBL 375) and Saturdays (9:00am-2:00pm in KOBL 375) through and including Saturday, March 31^st. The last day is March 31^st.  Free parking is available across the street in the parking garage.
